All of Bearspaw Finnish Lapphund's breeding program are Finnish Imports or their descendants. We work collaboratively with breeders in Finland and elsewhere in Europe to keep the breed sustainable, happy, and healthy. 

To date, dogs bred, co-bred, owned, co-owned by us and with a Bearspaw co-owned parent have won major awards, including:

• National Best in Specialty Shows (US and Canada)

• Best Veteran in Show and Best Veteran in Specialty Show (Canada and Finland)

• European Winner, Junior and Veteran World Winner

• Best of Opposite, Select Dog at Westminster

• Best of Opposite Sex, Best Puppy, Select Dog or Female, or Best Baby Puppy in Specialty Show (Canada, US, Finland)

• Multiple AOM at Eukanuba (US)

• All breed Best in Show, Best Puppy in Show, Best Veteran in Show, Best Baby Puppy in Show (Canada, US, and Finland)

• Dogs bred, owned, shown, co-bred, co-owned, or with one Bearspaw parent have completed conformation titles in Canada, the US, Finland, Belgium, Estonia, Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia, Australia, Czech

• Versatility titles (Canada and US)

• Register of merit titles (Canada)
